Denise Cortes is the Area Director for Lutheran Social Services Southern California (LSSSC), a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting human needs with compassion and providing comprehensive assistance to support independence. LSSSC serves hundreds of thousands of individuals and families in Southern California each year. In addition to providing housing assistance, LSSSC offers support in education and training, mental and behavioral health, aging and senior programs, developmentally disabled programs, and refugee and immigrant services.
