*A moderated discussion following the performance will include information about the recent agreement with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to limit indeterminate long-term solitary confinement. “If the SHU fits” is part of a call to STOP THE TORTURE with events in the greater Los Angeles area on the 23rd of each month, signifying the number of hours each day that prisoners are locked in their solitary cell.
