Betsy Patterson is currently the president of the Ventura chapter of the League of Women Voters, having served on the Board since 2016. Retiring from a career in emergency medicine in 2018, the LWV provided a wonderful opportunity to become involved in community issues, including voter registration, voter education, civil discourse and defending our democracy.

Matty Park is a longtime advocate for voting rights, women’s rights, and the environment.  After a long career in information technology, she is now a member of the League of Women Voters of Ventura County Executive Board, participating in candidate forums, non-partisan voter registration and education, and projects related to social justice, fighting disinformation, and saving our democracy.
