Being a Goldfish – the happiest animal of earth

Sunday morning at 10am

with Shane Niebergall

Ted Lasso is more than a comical hero in a warmhearted series. His wise words about being a goldfish teaches us about the importance of living in the moment. The gift of presence is hard to appreciate, especially as our lives become more and more inundated with distractions, worry, and regret. Let us come together and explore why it’s so hard to be present, and what we can do about it.

Families welcome! The Joy Corner is open!

Children will be led by the Lamp of Love to their RE spaces partway through the service.

Be Still! Be Present! – What happens when we slow down and “melt” into the present? Oh, the things we can notice! What fun! What beauty!

Whether you choose to purchase the books, borrow them from a friend, or check them out from your local library, we hope you enjoy these stories featuring characters from a wide range of communities.

Happy Thanksgiving Messages, Wishes & Greetings for 2024 - What to Write in a Thanksgiving Card

Blessing of Gratitude, Celebration, and Support

Today, we’re thankful for you and what you bring to our church.

Your spirit, talents, generosity, imagination, and dedication reaffirm our fellowship and create our Beloved Community. Our heartfelt thanks to you on this day and for all days to come.

For those who embrace Thanksgiving as a day to honor the gifts of family, friendship, abundance, security, we celebrate with you and join our voices to hold aloft all sacred blessings.

For those who hold Thanksgiving as a day of sadness, who mourn for the hurt and loss of native peoples, who are lonely, who grieve the loss of those dear and beloved, we hold your heartache and sorrow so you do not have to carry the burden alone.

Blessings be upon you.
