In September, our theme is the Practice of Invitation
Chalice Circles
Sunday morning at 10am
with Katie Morgan and Merlin Snider
Chalice Circles provide opportunities for us to enrich our lives, strengthen our fellowship community, and deepen our connections. Through the spiritual practices of deep listening, authentic sharing and respectful silence, Chalice Circles affirm and promote our UU values of transformation, pluralism and love. Come hear about the lasting impact of these small group gatherings.

Children will be led by the Lamp of Love to their RE spaces partway through the service.
September 1–
Popcorn Summer: The Inspiration of Reason – It’s our final Sunday of Popcorn Summer! You won’t want to miss out on the fun movie and activity we have planned for you. Oh yeah, and there’s popcorn!
Sam Dickerson will be away this Sunday. If you are in need of assistance that morning, Rick Wells will be the RE Rep.
Each week we will offer book suggestions for all ages, books that celebrate diverse identities, resist stereotypes, and uplift social justice. Whether you choose to purchase the books, borrow them from a friend, or check them out from your local library, we hope you enjoy these stories featuring characters from a wide range of communities.
*Credit given to RebekahGienapp.com for most suggestions

The Year of the Dog by Grace Lin (ages 7-10)

Have you signed your family’s photo release?
In an effort to obtain permissions for photography and videography at Chalice and Chalice events, we are reintroducing our media release form. You can find this form through Breeze. We will also have paper copies available at the RE table during the Ingathering celebration on September 8. The Social Media Team is working on updating our photo policy. You can also view Chalice’s Photographer’s Covenant here. If you have questions, you can contact the Social Media Team or Sam Dickerson.
Have you met J. Piglet?
