It’s quite an adventure being here at Chalice with all of you. How did we get here? What led us? Why do we stay? What’s next? Join Matt and Rick as we explore why we make Chalice our home. Hint- It has a lot to do with you. You really are that kind of special.

Children will be led by the Lamp of Love to their RE spaces partway through the service.

September 29–

We Promise – What’s the difference between a covenant and a pinky promise? Not a whole lot! Let’s see what it means to make a promise and build our RE covenant for the new church year.

Sam Dickerson will be away this Sunday. If you are in need of assistance that morning, Juliette Trey will be the RE Rep.

Each week we will offer book suggestions for all ages, books that celebrate diverse identities, resist stereotypes, and uplift social justice. Whether you choose to purchase the books, borrow them from a friend, or check them out from your local library, we hope you enjoy these stories featuring characters from a wide range of communities.

How to Draw an Alian UFO for kids - Drawing and coloring

We need kid art!

Music Man Rick has created an amazing story of aliens visiting Chalice. Really! In order to make this story come to life, we would love drawings of aliens from our children. Create as many drawings as you’d like! We will be collecting this art over the next couple of months. Please bring your artwork to Chalice and leave it in Sam’s mailbox (next to the kitchen). Thank you for helping us create magic!
