Giving Through Breeze Online

Breeze is the church management software that Chalice uses to manage contacts and donations for people.

Through Breeze, members and friends of Chalice can make pledge payments, donations or other payments to Chalice.

The following will explain how to access and choose giving options through Breeze. This example will be for setting up recurring ACH payments, however the process for setting up nonrecurring payments and/or using a credit/debit card is similar.

If you have a Breeze account, go to https://chaliceuu.breezechms.com/give/internal (this will ask you to sign in to Breeze). Otherwise go to https://chaliceuu.breezechms.com/give/online

At this point you should see the “Give to Chalice” form:

On this form, specify the following 4 items:

  1. The amount of the payment.
  2. What the payment is for (e.g. “Plate”, “Pledge 25-26”, “Pledge 24-25”, “Special Collections”, “Campout”, etc.). If this is for a pledge, make sure that the correct pledge year is selected.
  3. Frequency of payment (“Give this One Time”,”Give this Weekly”, “Give this Every 2 Weeks”, “Give this Monthly”, “Give this Annually”). if this is for a recurring payment, make sure that correct frequency is selected instead of “Give this One Time” (e.g. “Give this Monthly”).
  4. Method of payment (“Credit/Debit Card”, “ACH Bank Transfer”). Choose ACH if you want Breeze to pull this directly from your bank account. Otherwise choose and enter “Credit/Debit Card”.

If the form is filled in for a monthly recurring ACH payment, after clicking on “Continue”, you will be presented with a form to specify the details of your bank account:

On the above form, specify the following 10 items:

  1. Your name
  2. Your email address
  3. Your bank’s routing number
  4. Your bank account number
  5. Your street address
  6. Your city
  7. Your state
  8. Your Zip code
  9. Comments (optional)
  10. Whether you would like to cover the ACH processing fee. (If not, Chalice will receive your donation less the processing fee.)

After clicking on “Give …” your request will be processed.

You can adjust or stop recurring payments by logging into Breeze, going to “Give Now” and then clicking on “Recurring Gifts”.
