Planned Giving–Give To Our Future
The mission of Chalice Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is to nurture spiritually courageous people who transform the world through justice and compassion.
Your planned gift will continue to support our Mission long beyond your lifetime. Planned Giving monies will go into The Stability Fund (TSF). The Stability Fund is our future, allowing Chalice in years to come to expand programs, maintain our physical infrastructure, and buffer our budget from sudden shifts in the economy.
We are excited to announce our participation in the Unitarian Universalist Association’s “Legacy Challenge.”
Thanks to a generous gift from the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock, our congregation would receive 10% matching funds of up to $10,000 per donor for certain planned gifts made through December 31, 2018 or until matching funds are exhausted. This includes existing planned gifts about which Chalice-Conejo Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship has not been previously notified.
Gifts such as a bequest in your will, naming Chalice as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or insurance policy will all qualify for 10% matching – capped at $10,000. Even gifts of undisclosed value may qualify for a flat $1,000 match.
We invite you to consider this opportunity to potentially double the impact of your gift by including Chalice as part of your will or estate planning. To qualify your existing or new gift for this challenge, simply contact our Chalice Legacy Gift Chair, Susan Dixon.
