We will be discussing the Bible as a justice tool to keep in our advocacy tool box. As UUs many of us feel called to work for justice issues as a matter of faith and belief. Often we are resistant to claim The Bible as a instrument of justice work. The Bible and many other scriptural sources are often seen as documents of suspicion not necessarily to be trusted. During this service, we will breaking open the Hebrew Scriptures and Christian Testaments as documents of liberation. Documents that put in cultural context will inspire our justice and advocacy work.
